The Greek breakfast buffet serves a wide range of local delicacies. Guests will try the homemade jams and traditional spoon sweets. Paired with bread or yoghurt, they make an ideal breakfast combination. Next, there are fresh free range eggs from the hotel farm, omelettes with peppers, “touloumotyri” cheese and Greek cold cuts as well as “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato). The pies are worth trying: The traditional “tyropitara” (with cheese) from Karystos, is fried, made with homemade phyllo. There is also “tiganopsomo” (fritters with cheese), small cheese pies, spinach pies and sweet pumpkin pie with honey and cinnamon syrup. There is also a great variety of fresh and dried fruits, juices, dried nuts and local “pasteli” (honey and nuts bar). Recommended are also the cakes and “moustokouloura” (cookies with grape must), the cinnamon and orange cookies, all homemade, the cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, the “tiganites” with sugar and honey and the “loukoumades” (honey dumplings).

The Greek breakfast buffet at Ananti City Resort offers its guests many bread varieties, fresh orange juice and fruits. There is also local yoghurt, local eggs and village style pies with handmade phyllo dough (pies with wild herbs, cheese pies, sausage pies). There is pure honey and homemade jams. Guests will also find tahini spread, marinated olives, halva with tahini and semolina pudding (halva), “loukoumi” (Turkish delight), homemade “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and locally produced mushrooms. The cheese selection includes “kasseri” of Trikala, “manouri”, feta, “kefalotyri” and gruyere and there is also a platter of cold cuts.

Το πρωινό του ξενοδοχείου περιλαμβάνει αρτοσκευάσματα (ψωμί, κριτσίνια και φρυγανιές) από παραδοσιακό φούρνο της περιοχής, λάδι και ελιές από ελαιώνες του νοτίου Πηλίου, ντόπιο μέλι, μαρμελάδες και γλυκά του κουταλιού που παρασκευάζονται στο ξενοδοχείο από τα φρούτα των οπωροφόρων δέντρων του Πηλίου, βούτυρο τοπικής παραγωγής, μήλα Ζαγοράς, φέτα και γαλοτύρι Βόλου, τυρόπιτες και χορτόπιτες με σπιτικό φύλο, στραπατσάδα, αυγά με χόρτα, τραχανά, αλλαντικά από παραγωγούς της περιοχής, αλλά και σπιτικό κέικ, σιμιγδαλένιο χαλβά και ρυζόγαλο. Ο πρωινός μπουφές ολοκληρώνεται με λουκουμάδες με μέλι, αυγοφέτες, ντάκο, καθώς και γιαούρτι, δημητριακά, καφέ, τσάι και χυμούς.

The Greek breakfast at the Anagennisis Hotel is served in the cozy restaurant area where guests can enjoy delicious dishes made with carefully selected ingredients with emphasis on quality and fresh, pure local products. There is bread, tarts, traditional sweets, fresh fruits and juices, local dairy products and cold cuts, “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), dried nuts and fruits, various pies (such as cheese pie, spinach pie, pie with mushrooms) and traditional “kagiana” (eggs with tomato), omelet, olives and olive oil.

Αξίζει να δοκιμάσει κανείς φρέσκο ζεστό ψωμί, κριτσίνια, παξιμάδια, ποικιλία από κέικ και δημητριακά, αποξηραμένα φρούτα και γλυκά του κουταλιού. Ο πρωινός μπουφές ολοκληρώνεται από ζεστό ελληνικό καφέ, τσάι και άλλα βότανα. Έτσι, δίδεται η ευκαιρία στους επισκέπτες από το εξωτερικό να δοκιμάσουν τα τοπικά προϊόντα.

Breakfast at the Ammos Hotel includes a wide selection of dishes from Greece and Crete in particular. Traditional bread products such as Cretan rusks, the well known Cretan “kalitsounia” (small cheese pies and spinach pies), gruyere, “myzithra” and “anthotyros” cheeses, are just some of the specialties offered. Guests may also try the wonderful Cretan honey and fresh fruits like cherries, apricots, peaches.

Fresh local products and homemade delicacies, jams, cakes, pies, “tiganites” (pancakes), honey from Skyros and other traditional products are served daily. Guests will also taste local eggs, boiled and fried, omelettes with tomato, a variety of spoon sweets and homemade jams, semolina pudding (halva) and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding). Other delicacies include “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), lemon cream, orange cakes and apple pies, cheese from Skyros and various pies.

The Greek breakfast buffet is based on fresh ingredients by local producers. There is a variety of breads combined with homemade jams and a Cretan corner featuring local pastry products with cheese. Traditional sheep’s yoghurt, pure butter and other delicacies, offer guests authentic Cretan flavors. Guests may try fresh fruit juices and hot specialties like “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), “pitakia” (pies) and “sfouggato” (zucchini omelet). Greek coffee is brewed traditionally in front of the guests and there is a choice of local herbal teas, such as “malotira”, “sarantadendri”, sage and “diktamo”.

The Amfithea hotel offers its guests a selection of Greek homemade dishes. The buffet includes various jams, honey, fresh milk, yoghurt and juice. Cold cuts and eggs cooked in various ways are also offered. Guests should also try the homemade chocolate cake, traditional pies such as “zymaropita” (dough pie), milk pie and cheese pie, “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), “tiganites” (pancakes) as well as various spoon sweets such as grape, sour cherry, cherry etc. As for beverages there is mountain tea, chamomile and fragrant Greek coffee brewed the traditional way.

Apart from standard breakfast items, the Ambassador offers Greek traditional dishes at its buffet. The fresh breads selection features the traditional “psimithi” as well as Greek barley buns, cookies and “moustokouloura” (cookies with grape must) and tahini spread. The local eggs are cooked in various styles, including the traditional “strapatsada” from Rhodes (scrambled eggs with tomato and local feta with oregano or basil). The cold buffet includes a platter of Greek cheeses (feta, “kasseri”, gruyere) a platter with Greek cold cuts and fresh yoghurt. For dessert there is traditional “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and many other sweets based on yoghurt and milk. Greek honey and jams, walnuts, raisins, dried and fresh fruits complement the above. Beverages include fresh milk, Greek herbal teas and traditional coffee.

The rich breakfast buffet at the “Avlis” restaurant includes products from Zakynthos and Greece. Guests will find village style bread from a local bakery as well as rusks, bread with local raisins and many other bread products. There are also homemade jams and spoon sweets, traditional sweets such as “melachrino”, “bobota”, halva, pies, yoghurt, “mandolato” (nougat), “pasteli” (nuts and honey bar) and many more local delicacies.

The breakfast buffet is based on simple, pure raw materials mainly from Greece. Various types of freshly baked bread may be topped with jams or pure Greek honey. There are also fresh fried eggs, boiled, scrambled and “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato) with crispy bacon and chicken sausages. The bakery corner has traditional pies with cheese or spinach, or ‘twisted’ with cheese and sesame and mini feta pies. Cheeses, such as Greek feta, goat cheese with pepper, kefalotyri and kaseri as well as various cold cuts are offered. Strained yogurt to combine with various nuts, dried fruits, spoon sweets. Guests can also try homemade cakes, Greek delights with rose and mastic flavors, and traditional sweets such as ‘baklava’ bites. There is also a corner with light products, fresh fruits, gluten or lactose free products for those on a diet or with special dietary needs.
