A rich breakfast buffet is served at the Aurora with Greek handmade products. There are two types of fresh bread from the local bakery. Fresh fruit such as apples, oranges, melon and water melon (when in season) are also offered. Guests will find strained yoghurt, butter, ham, yellow cheese, jams, handmade spoon sweets, honey, fresh milk, boiled eggs, handmade cakes, coffee, natural orange juice, black tea, chamomile, as well as Greek coffee. Hot dishes include a “twisted” Macedonian style spinach pie, “loukoumades” (dumplings with chocolate or honey), and omelettes, plain or with sausages.

The Greek Breakfast at the Avalon is based on local products and recipes of Zakynthos. There is a variety of breads, handmade rusks, cake with honey, semolina pudding (halva), traditional buns with olives, honey or “tahini”. Guests will find traditional pies with local cheeses (“ladotyri”). There are also handmade marmalades, honey, and delicious spoon sweets. Other desserts include “mandolato”, (nougat) and pasteli (honey and nuts bar). The local cheeses (“ladograviera”, “ladotyri” and “prentsa”) are worth trying. A specialty dish is the “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato) with “ladotyri” of Zakynthos. Breakfast is complete with sweet or sour ‘trahanas” with fried bread and grated goat’s cheese.

The Greek breakfast at the Avra Hotel includes a wide selection of dishes and local products. There is bread, local honey and handmade jams. The eggs can be cooked in various ways, the star being “strapatsada” (local dish with scrambled eggs and tomato). There are also fresh fruits, tomatoes, cold cuts, olives produced locally, feta cheese, yoghurt and virgin olive oil. Desserts include “ladokouloura” oil cookies of Lefkada, handmade cake, the handmade “tsoureki” (sweet bread) and various cookies. Guests will also find peach compote and beverages such as tea, chamomile, coffee, orange juice and fresh milk.

There is also an assortment of fresh vegetables. The breakfast buffet also includes Greek yoghurt, fresh milk and butter, as well as eggs cooked in many ways, notably “strapatsada” (scrambled with tomato). There are also homemade cookies and beverages, teas, chocolate, Greek coffee and juices, paired with sweets such as “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), “tiganites” (pancakes), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and milk pie. Guests should also try the cheese, spinach and zucchini pies that are prepared daily with organic products from the hotel garden. Honey, “tahini” (sesame paste), jams, green olives and Kalamata style olives complement the breakfast selection.

The rich breakfast buffet at the Art Hotel Debono holds a place of honour for Greek and local delicacies. There is fresh bread from the local bakery, cakes, buns, biscuits, raisin bread and olive bread. The free range eggs are prepared in many ways, including “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato). Jams are made by the hotel staff with fruits from the hotel garden. The Greek cheeses include feta, gruyere, “katiki” from Domokos as well as top quality cold cuts, such as “apaki” from Crete, salami from Corfu and of course the famous “nouboulo” from Corfu (pork.) There are also village-style pies with wild greens from the garden as well as the traditional yoghurt pie of Corfu, made with the local fragrant butter. The Greek coffee is brewed traditionally and can be combined perfectly well with kumquat spoon sweet and “sykomaida” pie of Corfu.

The Arion Resort offers a wide selection of traditional dishes at its breakfast buffet. Local beverages include chamomile and sage and as for bakery products there are rusks of Zakynthos with oil, raisins and wine. Guests may try jams, dried fruit and dried nuts as well as thyme honey. There is olive oil and black olives, paired with gruyere and “ladotyri” cheese. Various salads as well as fruit and compotes are also served. The breakfast buffet is complete with local “fryssa” and “riganada” (rusk) as well as eggs with tomato.

Dairies include feta cheese, “ladotyri” cheese of Zakynthos, “myzithra” cheese, and yoghurt, paired with fresh vegetables and fruits. Beverages include herbal teas, Greek coffee and fresh fruit juice among others.

The breakfast buffet features many products of Corfu. Guests will also find homemade jams, biscuits and cakes in a variety of flavors, as well as yoghurt and fresh butter. There are also dried fruits, “mandoles” (nougat), “pasteli” (sesame and honey bar), Greek coffee, kumquat liqueur, a selection of mountain teas, traditional bread products such as “fogatsa” and loaf of Corfu, cold cuts such as ‘nouboulo”” and smoked pancetta, sausages from Corfu and handmade jams, eggs with “Komodoro” eggplants, “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato) and various Greek salads.
Last but not least, the famous pies are the real stars of the breakfast buffet, made with cheese or various greens from the garden.

Breakfast at the Bella Venezia hotel consists of a rich Greek buffet with top quality fresh products and local flavors. Breakfast starts with fresh natural juice, Greek coffee traditionally brewed, tea or mountain tea. The fresh eggs are prepared upon request in front of the guests and there is also the choice of “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomatoes). All the cold cuts, as well as the “nouboulo” smoked pork from Corfu, are locally made. There are various bread products and cakes. The fresh yoghurt is accompanied by local honey and walnuts or “mandola”, sweet kumquat and “sikomaida” (local specialties). The traditional jams are handmade. The local special “sikomaida” is a pie made with figs, ouzo and sesame. Classic Greek cheeses such as “kasseri”, feta etc are offered together with a wide selection of Greek olives and virgin olive oil. The breakfast buffet also offers fresh fruits, dried fruits, compotes, biscuits and a variety of juices. Breakfast is served under the pergolas in the garden, weather permitting, or under the sunny gazebo in the garden.

Breakfast at the Aeolos Beach Resort offers many types of bread, boiled and fried eggs, omelets and “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato). There are cold cuts and cheese platters, honey, several kinds of jams, olives, olive oil, a selection of cereals and Greek coffee. Guests should also try the traditional “sykomaida” pie, the yoghurt pie, the salads, fresh fruits, compotes, yoghurts and spoon sweets.
