The Guesthouse Papanikola is perched on Mount Menalo at an altitude of 1150m, in the picturesque village of Piana, about 160km from Athens and 19km from the town of Tripolis. Located in verdant surroundings and offering stunning views, it is the ideal location for mountain cycling (hotels bicycles), rafting in river Lousios, hiking in the forest, mount climbing etc. The Menalo ski centre is just 28km away from the guesthouse. The guesthouse has eight rooms and two junior suites, all fully equipped, with a fireplace.
Breakfast is based on pure, local products and is served in a traditional basket full of delicacies. Guests will taste handmade bread and fluffy, freshly baked cake. There is also a selection of cold cuts and local gruyere cheese. The boiled eggs are fresh from the village. Paired with hot bread, guests may taste quality honey from Menalo, various types of handmade jams as well as homemade lemon or orange creams. Finally, there is traditional, hot milk pie of Arkadia with cinnamon and sugar. Breakfast also includes freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee or other beverages such as mountain tea from Menalos, sage and Greek coffee.
