The Marousio” guesthouse is located in the village of Rodavgi in Arta at an altitude of 800m. It is built with local stone, in total harmony with its surroundings. Wood and stone dominate the breakfast room, while the big fireplace in the sitting area creates a cozy corner for relaxation.
The rooms are spacious, with all modern amenities, and most of them boast a fireplace.
The Greek breakfast buffet at the “Marousio” guesthouse features many local dishes, namely traditional pies such as flour pie, milk pie, zucchini pie, cabbage pie, pie with pasta, “batsara” and cheese pie. There is also “trahanas” soup with traditional pasta, various breads, eggs, butter, cheeses, cold cuts, olives, organic tomatoes from the garden and seasonal fruits.
For dessert there is apple pie and lemon pie, cakes, cookies, halva, “tiganites” (pancakes) with tsipouro and honey. Beverages include tea from Ksirovouni and Greek coffee paired with loukoumi (Turkish delight) from Ioannina.
