The breakfast buffet at the Marino Beach Hotel serves a wide selection of traditional delicacies. There is orange juice, coffee and tea, milk, bread, cakes and “pasta flora” jam tart. Guests will find boiled and fried eggs, sliced ham and cheese, salad (tomato and cucumber), yoghurt, honey, two kinds of jams and dried fruits. Hot dishes include village style omelet and vegetable “papoutsaki” (tomato, pepper, with grated feta cheese, oil, oregano, pepper). The Greek corner serves mountain tea and other herbal beverages (“malotira”), and offers “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato), local products like feta cheese, olives, extra virgin olive oil, “koukouvayia” or “dakos” (barley rusk with grated tomato, feta, oil and oregano) and orange cookies with sesame. The breakfast buffet features sweet treats like “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), tahini halva, cream-filled “galaktoboureko” “boureki” and “loukoumades” (honey dumplings.) The savoury selection serves onion and spinach pie.
