Fresh eggs from the hotel’s hens are cooked in various ways. Local yogurt, olives and olive oil complement the landlady’s famous pies, like the cheese pie made with local feta, the greens pie, as well as the sweet and savory cakes. The cold cuts platter is paired with cheese such as gruyere from Naxos and feta from Gastouni. A special homemade delicacy, “tiganopsoma” (fried dough with local honey and sesame) is highly recommended. Beverages include local milk, coffee and tea.
