The Agglias ke Oreas Venetias Hotel in the town of Corfu, widely known as “Bella Venezia”, is housed in a splendid, renovated neoclassical building, in the heart of the cosmopolitan capital of the island of Corfu. The hotel has 30 rooms and one suite, all with private bathroom and other amenities. The rooms feature views of the garden or the city. The 19th century style has been preserved throughout the building.
Breakfast at the Bella Venezia hotel consists of a rich Greek buffet with top quality fresh products and local flavors. Breakfast starts with fresh natural juice, Greek coffee traditionally brewed, tea or mountain tea. The fresh eggs are prepared upon request in front of the guests and there is also the choice of “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomatoes). All the cold cuts, as well as the “nouboulo” smoked pork from Corfu, are locally made. There are various bread products and cakes. The fresh yoghurt is accompanied by local honey and walnuts or “mandola”, sweet kumquat and “sikomaida” (local specialties). The traditional jams are handmade. The local special “sikomaida” is a pie made with figs, ouzo and sesame. Classic Greek cheeses such as “kasseri”, feta etc are offered together with a wide selection of Greek olives and virgin olive oil. The breakfast buffet also offers fresh fruits, dried fruits, compotes, biscuits and a variety of juices. Breakfast is served under the pergolas in the garden, weather permitting, or under the sunny gazebo in the garden.
