The Greek breakfast at the Aegialis Hotel & Spa consists of traditional bread, handmade cinnamon or orange cookies, homemade croissants, a wide variety of fresh fruits, fresh orange juice, organic vegetables from the hotel gardens, olives, feta cheese, yoghurt, and free range eggs cooked in many ways. Cheeses include the “Amorgiano” (semi-hard cheese), “ksinomyithra”, “anthotyro” and “malaka” cheese. The traditional pies are baked daily on the premises (with cheese, spinach, greens or “bougatsa” with cream). Desserts like “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), “kserotigana” (fritters) as well as handmade jams, are highly recommended.
