Milopita (Apple Pie)

250 gr sugar
150 gr butter
1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
¼ teaspoon clove powder
3 chopped apples
120 gr walnuts
50 gr raisins sultanina
300 gr all purpose flour
4 eggs
1 vanilla

Milopita (Apple Pie)

Spread the butter in a small baking pan and put it in a preheated oven at 1800C. When the butter melts, add the cinnamon and ⅓ of the sugar and place the baking pan back in the oven until the mixture becomes caramel. Peel the apples, cut into small pieces and place on top of the mixture and bake them in the oven for about 5 minutes and beat the eggs with the rest of the sugar until they are “fluffy”. Then add sifted flour and vanilla and whisk until they are incorporated In your mixture and then pour the walnuts.

Milopita (Apple Pie)

Pour the mixture over the apples and bake in a preheated oven at 1800C for 30 minutes. Finally, remove from oven, allow 10 minutes to cool, then turn over to a serving platter.
