The Greek breakfast buffet at “Pirrion sweet hospitality” includes a wide selection of traditional dishes, starting with bakery products: fresh bread, hot bread with olives and bread with cheese, caramelized “avgofetes” (French toasts), cake and “tsoureki” (sweet bread). Guests should definitely try the delicious pies of Zagori such as cheese pie, “alevropita” (flour pie) and milk pie. Guests will also find boiled eggs and omelet, cold cuts and hot soup made with local “trahanas” (traditional pasta). Other desserts worth noting are the cream-filled syrupy “galaktoboureko”, the “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and homemade jams (made with local fruit of the forest, orange, strawberry, plum, all made at the hotel). The breakfast buffet ends with fresh fruit, fruit juice, local cheeses and yoghurt, local honey, oil and olives, as well as fragrant Greek coffee.

Among the wide variety of dishes served at the breakfast buffet, guests will find a wide range of Greek products. Apart from breads, there is a wide variety of cookies, biscuits, cakes, “tsoureki” (sweet bread) and various juices. Worth trying are the pies (with cheese, spinach, milk, “bougatsa” with cream and others. There are also fresh fruits and compotes, fruit salad and Greek yoghurt, dried fruits and nuts, various jams and spoon sweets. Along with cold cuts, a selection of Greek cheeses such as feta, “kasseri”, gruyere, “anthotyro” and “manouri” is served.
The traditional breakfast of Kos includes “kanellada” (a beverage based on cinnamon), various bakery items like “moustokouloura” (cookies with grape must), rusks with walnut and sesame, vanilla cookies and special types of traditional bread. Other local specialities are the “kagianas” (scrambled eggs with tomato) and the “posia” cheese (fresh “myzithra” cheese sun dried and dipped in wine must). For dessert, there is traditional cherry tomato sweet, honey, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), the local “mageria” and semolina pudding (halva).

The hotel offers a rich breakfast buffet with fresh Greek ingredients. The bread basket has a selection of breads and croissants, the dairy products section includes milk and Greek yoghurt with fruit, as well as ryzogalo (rice pudding). Greek cheeses like feta, “kopanisti” from Mykonos, Cretan anthoryros and gruyere are among the traditional choices. Fruit juices, Greek jams, dried fruits and nuts, Greek honey are among the healthy options of the menu. Bakery items feature a selection of cakes, sweet egg bread (tsoureki), custard cream filled pastry (bougatsa), apple and milk pie.
There are also savoury pies with spinach or cheese. The desserts section has many syrupy sweets that alternate, like walnut pie, “revani” (baked semolina cake), semolina pudding (halva). Fried or boiled eggs are on offer, as well as “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato) and omelet. Other traditional choices include Cretan “dakos” barely rusk, black eyed beans from Prespes, sour “trahanas” (cracked wheat) from Evia and Greek cold cuts. Salad lovers will appreciate the Kalamata olives with fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, peppers). Apart from coffee, hot herbal teas are also available.

The family farm provides most of the ingredients for the daily breakfast. Fruits and vegetables, oil and olives, as well as meat, are all organic. Guests may try the homemade sweets and pies, jams, spoon sweets and accompany these with herbal teas such as “melissochorto”, “chortari tis Panagitsas”, mint, thyme, oregano and “valsamo”. Yoghurt is served with freshly cut fruits. Recommended are the scrambled “kagianas” eggs with tomato, the smoked sausages, the “syglino”, which is pork preserved in salt and smoked with aromatic herbs of Mani, the sweet treat “lalaggides” and the village eggs. There is also thyme honey, pies with wild greens and bread baked in a traditional oven. A refreshing, freshly squeezed orange juice is offered to guests. Greek coffee is served for the perfect ending.

The Pefkos Village puts emphasis on the Greek cuisine and fresh raw materials. At breakfast, guests have the opportunity to get to know and love local delicacies, starting with bread and bakery items baked in a traditional oven. The buffet has fresh fruits, yoghurt, jams made with fruits from the hotel’s vegetable garden, fresh pies, local honey, olives, “fanouropita” (traditional cake), eggs with tomatoes and zucchinis and herbal teas.

A daily buffet offering Greek products and dishes prepared on the premises is served daily at the hotel. Breakfast starts with various breads, multi grain bread sticks and sweet cookies. Cheese and cold cuts are also served, as well as feta and yellow cheese for toasts, turkey, ham, salami, sausages and bacon. There are also homemade jams, tahini, halva and honey.

On cold winter days “trahanas” (traditional pasta soup) is served. Olives and “tsitsiravla” from the region as well as sun dried tomatoes add a special touch, together with fresh vegetables. The sweet corner includes a variety of handmade jams, cakes and biscuits, “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), and pies (apple pie, orange pie, chocolate pie, yoghurt pie, milk pie, and sweet “bougatsa”). Other desserts are “galaktoboureko”, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), walnut pie, “diples” (fritters), semolina pudding (halva) or halva with tahini. All the above delicacies are prepared in the hotel kitchen.

The many types of bread are made with Greek flour and there are also organic fruits and vegetables, homemade cereals (wheat and oats), organic dried nuts, sesame “tahini” spread, Greek honey and olives, among other delicacies.

The breakfast buffet at the Petani Bay Hotel features fresh products based on traditional Greek flavours. There are fresh fruits or fruit salads, paired with local yoghurt. The selection of fresh breads is accompanied by honey, jams and homemade spoon sweets like the special sweet cherry. The cheese pies with handmade phyllo, the oil cookies and the “moustokouloura” (grape must cookies) are based on grandma’s old recipe. The dessert of the day includes tahini halva, syrupy “kadaifi”, baklava, or “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), apple pie, lemon pie, yoghurt pie etc. The fresh eggs are cooked to order. There is freshly cut salad, tomatoes, cucumber, olives etc as well as a variety of hard and soft local cheeses, with the local feta being the star. Fresh orange juice is made on the spot and guests may try the dairy creams, the “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) or mastic flavored panacotta. The savory or sweet crepes are also very popular. Beverages include mountain tea and chamomile tea that the owners pick during the winter.

The Thalassa Seaside Restaurant & Bar serves a rich breakfast buffet with emphasis on Greek products. Beverages include coffee, traditional mountain tea, various juices and milk, and there is also fresh bread, traditional “kserokouloura” buns of Parga and cakes. A wide selection of honey and jams is served, as well as fruit compotes. Greek olives are paired with tomato and cucumber, cheeses from Epirus (“kefalograviera”, gruyere, feta cheese) and a selection of Greek cold cuts by producers of Epirus. Traditional Greek yoghurt is also served, as well as eggs from poultry farms of Epirus cooked in a variety of ways, including “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato). The traditional pies of Epirus, based on local recipes, are spinach pie, cheese pie and “zymaropita”
For dessert, there are delicious Greek sweets such as baklava, “revani” (syrupy semolina cake) and walnut pie “tiganites” (pancakes), “loukoumades” (honey dumplings).
