The Mediterranean Beach Resort & Spa serves a Greek breakfast with local products like spoon sweets, rusks and cookies of Zakynthos, Greek and local traditional cheeses, various pies, “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), and sausages from Zakynthos. Greek jams, “tiganites” (pancakes), Greek olives and village style bread of Zakynthos are served daily.

The Mediterranee offers a comprehensive cold and hot breakfast buffet with many Greek specialties. For staters, there is a variety of breads, biscuits and cakes. The buffet also offers a selection of hot dishes, such as eggs cooked in various ways – including “strapatsada”, a recipe from Cephalonia with scrambled eggs, fresh tomato and Cephalonian cheese. The hotel breakfast includes platters of cheeses and cold cuts, vegetables, as well as traditional recipes from Cephalonia, such as “avrakoti” cheese pie, “riganada” (bread with freshly grated tomato, cheese) and other freshly cooked dishes such as pie with artichokes, local cod fish pie, pie with wild greens, “spetzofai”, and savory or sweet “bougatsa” pie. There are also fresh and dried fruits, homemade jams, spoon sweets and local thyme honey -all paired with Greek yoghurt. As for dessert there are local traditional products such as “pasteli” (honey and sesame paste) and “mandolata” (nougat.) There is also coffee, juices, Greek coffee and hot beverages, namely chamomile and tea.

The breakfast buffet at the Matilda hotel includes a wide selection of traditional delicacies such as “dakos” rusk with feta cheese, olive oil and oregano. There are three types of traditional homemade jams, honey from Zakynthos and handmade cake. Guests will also find a selection of tea, coffees, hot and cold milk, yoghurt, “kasseri” cheese, cold cuts and butter. The sliced tomatoes, zucchini and onions are worth trying. Olives, omelettes, mushrooms and sausage, as well as traditional pies, such as cheese pie, pie with ham and cheese, and milk pie, are also offered. There is melon and water melon, sweet “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), walnut pie and traditional “galaktoboureko” for the perfect ending to a real Greek breakfast.

Apart from the basic traditional products that characterize the Greek table, such as bread, olives and oil, together with feta cheese and tomatoes, the local, traditional corner of the hotel features many more products and dishes. There is also “dakos” rusk, “anthotyro” cheese, black and green olives, olive paste, pickles, diced eggplants and artichokes as well as homemade spinach pies.

The Greek Breakfast at the SENTIDO Louis Plagos Beach is served on a dedicated buffet and includes a plethora of traditional products. Guests may start with a selection of breads and bakery products, jams, tahini with honey as well as plain honey. There are also dried nuts and fruits, virgin olive oil of Zakynthos, olives as well as “tzatziki” (cucumber, garlic and yoghurt dip) and olive paste. A selection of cold cuts and cheeses such as feta, “kefalotyri”, “myzithra” are offered.
As for dessert, the “pasteli” from Zakynthos, “loukoumi” (Turkish delight), tahini halva and baklava are worth tasting.

The Primasol Louis Ionian Sun, has included many Greek traditional dishes in its breakfast. A traditional pie with olives and a cheese pie is offered every day, together with “anthotyro” cheese and olive paste. There are also homemade jams as well as dried fruits, such as figs, plums, apricots and raisins. As for desserts, guests may taste traditional spoon sweets and syrupy treats, tahini with honey, honey with almonds, tahini halva, “pasteli” (sesame and honey paste) and “loukoumi” (Turkish delight).

The Greek menu at the Louis Zante Beach is served on a separate buffet at the restaurant, so that guests may have the opportunity to taste local and traditional products. The buffet has various breads and traditional pies (with olives or traditional cheese pie). Black and green olives are also offered as well as “tzatziki” (yoghurt, garlic and cucumber dip) and black olive paste. As for cheese there is feta, “myzithra”, “kefalotyri” and “kasseri”, paired with Greek cold cuts such as “lountza”.
Tahini with honey and various sweets in syrup such as halva, baklava, “kataifi”, “ravani” (semolina cake) and “pasteli” (sesame and honey paste) are worth tasting. Breakfast guests will also find various jams, spoon sweets and dried fruits.

The breakfast buffet serves local, traditional delicacies and Greek products. Among others, there are fresh “ladokouloura” cookies and anise cookies from the traditional bakery, traditional yoghurt from a local workshop and a wide selection of cakes, biscuits and fresh fruits of the region. The hotel staff insist that guests should definitely taste the famous honey or the salami of Lefkada.

The Klelia Beach Hotel serves a wide selection of traditional delicacies, such as a variety of breads, biscuits, cakes, and pastry creations. Guests may try the traditional “pasteli” (honey and sesame bar) and “mandolato” (nougat) of Zakynthos as well as the semolina pudding “halva” with raisins from Zakynthos and the “loukoumades” (honey dumplings). There is a selection of fresh fruits, and various juices. Other dairies offered are yoghurt with honey, cream and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding). Eggs are cooked in various styles, including “strapatsada” (scrambled with tomato). Other dishes like zucchini and village style sausages, baked tomato, four kinds of cold cuts, two kinds of cheeses and “feta” are among the guests’ favorites. The breakfast buffet is complete with honey, “tahini” (sesame paste), spoon sweets, dried fruits, jams, olives and olive oil, various types of coffee and beverages such as mountain tea and chamomile.
