Chickpea or potato salad made with a traditional recipe, cheese and butter, cold cuts including the well known “louza” of Tinos are also served. Drinks like homemade lemonade and beverages from Greek herbs, as well as Greek coffee, are a perfect ending to the first meal of the day.

The breakfast buffet at the Captain’s House offers a wide selection of dishes. There is a variety of breads and cakes, as well as cheese pies. There are also mini cream-filled “bougatsa” and apple pies, “tiganites”(pancakes with tsipouro and cheese from Epirus) and bread with raisins from Corinthia. Guests will also find jams, yoghurt, honey, wild cherry spoon sweet and walnuts. There are also cold cuts, “gruyere” and feta cheeses. Fresh vegetables, olives, fresh and dried fruits, are some of the delicacies offered daily. Eggs are cooked in many styles, like the traditional “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato). For dessert, there is orange pie, chocolate pie, milk pie, sweet treat with yoghurt, “ravani” (syrupy semolina cake) and walnut pie. There are many types of coffee, Greek coffee, chocolate, fresh orange juice, Greek milk, various types of teas, cold or hot.

The Caravel Zante has a Greek Breakfast corner, where guests will find a buffet filled with local delicacies, such as freshly baked bread products: various traditional breads with rosemary or sun dried tomatoes. There are also rusks, cake with local honey, semolina pudding (halva) with local honey, and “fytoura” -a pie with goat’s cheese. Guests will also find “ladotyri” cheese from Zakynthos, goat’s cheese, gruyere, butter, yoghurt, “prentza” cheese, fresh milk and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding). The famous “mandoles” (nougats), “pasteli” (sesame and honey paste) and “mandolato” (nougat), the delicious jams ( orange, olive, wild cherry, plum or tomato), the orange and carrot spoon sweets and the honey from Zakynthos are traditional products really worth trying. For those who love soups, traditional “trahanas” (pasta with onions) is served here. Guests may also try “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato and “ladotyri” cheese), omelet with cheese and local cold cuts.

The Caravia Beach has a rich breakfast buffet with traditional, local products of Kos among the other Greek products served. Some noteworthy traditional products and dishes are spoon sweets, sweets in syrup, “trahanas” (pebble-sized pasta), “pasteli” (honey and sesame paste), semolina halva and halva from Farsala. There are dried nuts and locally produced honey, yoghurt and jams and fruits. Various cold cuts accompany cheeses such as “anthotyro”, local “krasotyri” and feta. Greek olives are served alongside various seafood dishes such as marinated sardines, octopus in vinegar and calamari. The hot buffet features eggs cooked in various ways like the traditional “strapatsada” with saut?ed meat or plain). There is also yoghurt pie, cream-filled “bougatsa”, spinach pie and milk pie baked -all baked on the premises. Last but not least, guests should try hot “tiganites” (Greek pancakes) and “loukoumades” (honey dumplings with cinnamon).

At the hotel’s main restaurant, there is a daily selection of local produce and products alternating weekly. In the buffet there are various handmade pastries, such as bread (rustic, multi-grain, rye, corn, low glycemic index, low fiber and low salt), nuts, ladrigani phrygana, cookies, croissants, oil cake, halvas, etc.

A variety of fruit and local jams (with carob, olive oil, etc.), as well as traditional pancakes, lukoumades, rice pudding,
bougatsa etc., are also available, various cereals, fresh or dried fruit and vegetables, baking figs, raisins, kefalotyri oil, olives (from Crete or Thasos) xynomizithra with spices Crete sfougato while prepared before the client fried eggs and omelettes with materials of choice.

The breakfast at Bratsera aims to showcase the gastronomic treasures of Greece. Its bread basket has a great variety (fresh multigrain bread, whole wheat, white village style, bread rolls from carob flour, ring bun with sesame, bread sticks, rye loaf etc.) Homemade pies are a must: spinach pies, cheese pies, chicken pies, small Cretan pies with “myzithra” cheese and Cretan pies with wild greens as well as the traditional sweet custard “bougatsa” pie. Eggs, omelettes, tarts and a selection of Greek cheeses and cold cuts comprise the savory flavors of the buffet.
The chef recommends homemade sweets: orange cookies, oat biscuits, cakes, apple pie, “pasta flora” jam tart and the delicious orange pie. The semolina pudding (halva) is filled with raisins and almonds and there is also a walnut pie with chocolate. Garden fruits are used for the homemade jams. For fans of a healthier diet there is yoghurt, thyme honey, tahini, dried and fresh fruit, walnuts, cereals, fresh fruit salad. Last but not least, one should try the “amygdalota” (sugar coated almond macaroons) of Hydra.

Hot dishes include omelettes with “apaki” ham, “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato and feta), “Sfouggato” (omelet with zucchini), soups, pies with traditional dough (cheese pies, pies with greens, spinach pies, leeks pies and “bougatsa”). Sweets include semolina pudding (halva) and “loukoumades” (dumplings with honey), “ksirotigana” (fritters with honey), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), vanilla or chocolate cream, “lyhnarakia” pies with “myzithra” cheese or herbs, “kaltsounia”. Beverages offered are herbal infusions like “diktamo”, “malotira”, sage, chamomile and cool “kanelada” (with cinnamon).

At Brasil Suites the healthy breakfast is based on the principles of Mediterranean diet, offering guests a variety of Greek flavors. There is fresh juice from sweet oranges, a wide selection of seasonal fruits, various jams and spoon sweets. Baked vegetables such as eggplants, zucchini and peppers are seasoned with olive oil and oregano. As for dairy produce, apart from Greek cheeses like feta, “anthotyro” and gruyere, there is a selection of yoghurts to suit all tastes. Other suggested delicacies are green and black olives, olive oil, and “trahanas” soup (sweet traditional pasta). Hot beverages include (chamomile, marjoram, “melissochorto”, thyme, black and green tea, beverages with saffron from Kozani), and various coffees.

The Atlantica Princess Hotel offers a rich breakfast with strong Greek elements, highlighting products and aromas of the island.
