The breakfast at Litohoro Olympus Resort Villas & Spa is mostly based on local products from the area of Litohoro in Pieria. The breakfast buffet includes various breads and traditional pies with many fillings (cheese, spinach, milk, leeks, eggplant etc). The dough and fillings are handmade according to traditional recipes. Guests will often find “tiganites” (pancakes) and “bougatsa” pie. Vegetarian dishes are also available (“batsina”, tomato with “anthotyro” cheese, saut?ed zucchini etc). There are also various kinds of omelettes and organic eggs from local producers cooked in various ways (including the traditional scrambled eggs “strapatsada”). During winter, soups such as “trahanas”, chickpeas, chicken soup etc. are offered. The buffet also includes cheese and cold cuts platters, with emphasis on the local products, fresh yoghurt, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and a selection of creams with fresh local milk. As for sweets, guests will find fresh handmade jams and flower honey from Olympus and may also try various cakes made with pure local ingredients, as well as apple pies, “pasta flora” jam tart, “ravani” (surupy semolina cake), cookies and fresh “loukoumades” (honey dumplings).

There is a special corner at the breakfast buffet of Louis Corcyra Beach showcasing Greek local products and dishes of exceptional nutritional value. Apart from the basic traditional products that characterize the Greek table, such as bread, olives and oil, together with feta cheese and tomatoes, the local, traditional corner of the hotel features many more products and dishes. There is “anthotyro” cheese, as well as local cheese, various types of bread products such as cookies, “lychnarakia” (mini pies), traditional rusks, “dakos” rusks and “kaltsounia”. Guests may choose boiled or fried eggs and omelettes, traditional pies (pie with wild greens, cheese pie and pie with olives), fresh fruits and olives. There is also honey, traditional jams, spoon sweets and syrupy sweets. For dessert, guests may try “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), “loukoumi” bites, “sperna”, tahini spread, “pasteli” (sesame and honey paste) and sesame halva.

The Greek breakfast buffet at the Louis Creta Princess includes local traditional products, such as “loukoumi” (Turkish delight), “melekouni” (honey and nuts bar), halva, tahini and spoon sweets such as bitter orange, fig, quince and water melon. There are various bakery products (barley buns, rusks, multi grain or sesame bread sticks, olive pies and cheese-bread). Capers, olives and sun dried tomatoes, dried fruits such as plums, apricots, figs and dates can be found daily at the breakfast buffet together with various dairy products such as sheep’s yoghurt, feta, gruyere, “kasseri” and “anthotyro” cheese. Hot dishes such as “kagiana” (eggs and tomato), giant beans, spinach and cheese pie are also offered. As for sweets, there is “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), “bougatsa” (cream-filled pie), walnut pie, “ravani” (syrupy semolina cake), and syrupy treats will phyllo such as baklava, “saragli” and “gianiotiko”.

There is also “dakos” rusk, “anthotyro” cheese, black and green olives, olive paste, pickles, diced eggplants and artichokes as well as homemade spinach pies.

The Greek Breakfast at the SENTIDO Louis Plagos Beach is served on a dedicated buffet and includes a plethora of traditional products. Guests may start with a selection of breads and bakery products, jams, tahini with honey as well as plain honey. There are also dried nuts and fruits, virgin olive oil of Zakynthos, olives as well as “tzatziki” (cucumber, garlic and yoghurt dip) and olive paste. A selection of cold cuts and cheeses such as feta, “kefalotyri”, “myzithra” are offered.

There are also homemade jams as well as dried fruits, such as figs, plums, apricots and raisins. As for desserts, guests may taste traditional spoon sweets and syrupy treats, tahini with honey, honey with almonds, tahini halva, “pasteli” (sesame and honey paste) and “loukoumi” (Turkish delight).

The Greek menu at the Louis Zante Beach is served on a separate buffet at the restaurant, so that guests may have the opportunity to taste local and traditional products. At the “Orizontes” restaurant of the Limneon Golden, a delicious Greek breakfast buffet introduces guests to a traditional breakfast of Kastoria. There are bakery products, a selection of Greek cheeses and cold cuts, homemade jams, honey, yoghurt and milk, mountain tea, fresh fruits and juices. The Greek delicacies include: local dry, salty cheese “batsos” and savoury pies. For dessert there are sweet pies, spoon sweets, semolina pudding “halva, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), cake with walnuts and carrot and “loukoumades” (honey dumplings).

The Lindos Mare Hotel honors the Greek traditional breakfast by serving a buffet based on fresh, local products. Unique traditional touches, such as rose cream, “sfouggato” (omelet with zucchini), fennel pie, fresh fruit juices and other local delicacies add color to taste. The aroma and texture of coffee, particularly Greek coffee made in “hovoli” (traditional instrument with sand imitating ashes), promise the best start to an ideal day.

The Greek breakfast starts with bread and bakery products from the village bakery (traditional bread, cookies with grape must etc.) The jams are homemade from the hotel’s own fruits (apricot, peach, sour cherry, fig, plum). Yoghurt is served with jams, honey, raisins, walnuts, figs from Kymi, plums from Skopelos and almonds. As for cheeses there is “ksynomyzithra” and gruyere on rusks. The “Lefkiani” is a simple omelet recipe with tomato and eggs, very popular with guests, who may also try the cheese pie made with a variety of cheeses. Sweets include orange pie, apple pie and the classic pasta flora jam tart. For those who finish breakfast and wish to carry on with a taste of traditional “meze”, there is “souma” (the local raki) and bottarga from Mesologhi, cold cuts (louza or sausage) from Mykonos, “syglino” (smoked pork) from Mani, “apaki” (smoked pork) from Crete and many more appetisers.

The hotel offers buffet style, self-service breakfast. Apart from coffee and beverages, the buffet includes three kinds of cereals, three kinds of jams, honey, two kinds of juices, yoghurt, two kinds of cheese, cured meat, tomatoes and cucumber, fresh seasonal fruits, eggs cooked in 2 different ways, bacon, sausages, cookies, two kinds of bread and croissants.
The Greek breakfast section of the hotel comprises local milk from the Ermionida region, as well as two types of locally sourced rusks, olives and olive oil. Also served are mini pies freshly baked on the premises, namely cheese and apple pies. Traditional Greek coffee, raisins and spoon sweets are also on offer in the desserts section.
