The Cosmopolitan hotel’s breakfast buffet offers many local Greek dishes and products. There is fresh bread, apple pies, cheese pies and cake. The various jams from local fruits are paired with yoghurt. The “feta” cheese, the “anthotyro” and the “krasotyri” cheese from Kos are the stars of the cheese corner and there are fresh eggs cooked in various ways. Also offered are fresh and dried fruits, salads, with local olives, fresh olive oil, cucumbers and fresh tomatoes. For dessert, the “tomataki” (cherry tomato) sweet is a popular “spoon sweet” and so is the traditional “mageria”.
