The Possidi offers a wide selection of Greek dishes on its breakfast buffet. There are many types of freshly baked bread, “tsoureki” and other sweet bread varieties, as well as Cretan rusks. Worth trying are the “tiganites” (pancakes) with feta and aromatic herbs, the “loukoumades” (honey dumplings) with chocolate, apricot and blackberry, and the apple pie. There is also hazelnut spread, honey and olives from Chalkidiki, handmade jams, dried nuts and dried fruits. Healthy options include the selection of fresh fruits and natural fruit juices. Guests may also enjoy spoon sweets, chocolate cake and biscuits. Other dishes include village-style cheese pie, sausages from Serres, fried eggs and omelet, mushrooms and “trahanas” (traditional pasta) soup with raisins. As for cheeses there is feta from “kasseri”, “metsovone” and “ladotyri” from Mytilini. There is finally a selection of cold cuts.
