Bread products include bread from a traditional Mykonian bakery, breadsticks, sesame “koulouri” bun. Dairy products feature milk, buttermilk, excellent cheeses and top quality Greek yoghurt accompanied by dried and fresh fruits, jams, honey, dried nuts and various spoon sweets. Local products offered are “louza,” (smoked pork) ‘kopanisti” (soft cheese with a spicy, peppery flavor), “ksynotyri”, rusks and “amygdalota” (almond shortbreads). Greek products include cold cuts, sun dried tomatoes, olive oil and a selection of olives. Omelettes and other hot dishes served are village style pies with wild greens, spinach, leeks, feta cheese and minced meat. An all time favourite, the Greek salad, is also served. Desserts include syrupy sweets with phyllo such as “kataifi”, baklava and “galaktoboureko”, walnut pie, chocolate pie and orange pie, yoghurt pie, “loukoumades” (honey dumplings) and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding).
