The Palea Poli is housed in an impressive building that used to be a silk factory. The building has been renovated with respect to the traditional architecture to create a unique guesthouse in the town of Naousa. The luxurious and cozy rooms of the Palea Poli are appointed with furniture that conjure up images of the 1920s and 30s. The lounge with the fireplace is on the ground floor of the building.
On cold, winter days, guests may enjoy their breakfast by the fireplace, which is freshly prepared the moment they sit down at the restaurant of Palea Poli, which is located on the ground floor of the guesthouse. There is a choice of handmade delicious jams, made with fresh fruits, such as strawberries, apples, oranges and plums, a rich “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), homemade pies, fluffy apple pie, freshly squeezed juices and steaming coffee. Guests will also try hot bread, traditional “trahanas” (handmade pasta), local cheeses and cold cuts, sweet crepes and fresh eggs cooked to order. On sunny days and summer mornings guests can enjoy their breakfast in the shade of the courtyard, which is filled with flowers.
