The Olympia Golden Beach Resort & Spa overlooks the Castro beach, in Kyllini. The resort boasts twelve impressive swimming pools in its verdant gardens. The interior decoration is minimal and tasteful and there is an endless list of services provided to guests. There are 28 Deluxe Bungalows, 18 deluxe rooms, five suites, four Superior Bungalows and a majestic Villa. The Greek breakfast buffet includes milk, coffee, bread, bread sticks, whole grain rusks, mini “dakos” rusks, bread with raisins and traditional sesame “koulouri” bun. As for juices there is tomato, grape fruit, apple and orange. The eggs are cooked in various styles and there is also yoghurt, tahini, honey, dried fruits and fresh fruit salad. Spoon sweets, “loukoumi” (Turkish delight) and “pasteli” (honey and nuts bar) are offered on a daily basis. Hot dishes include fried “kefalotyri” cheese, breaded feta, “formaela” cheese (fried on a tomato slice) “anthotyro” and feta cheese pie, village style spinach and cheese pie, zucchini tart with feta, village style sausage from Epirus, “trahana” (traditional pasta), “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato), omelet with zucchini, and eggplants with feta. Desserts feature “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), fried slices of apples in phyllo, vanilla cream, cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, and “loukoumades” (honey dumplings).
