The Ktima Bellou is located at an altitude of 900m, outside the village of Aghios Dimitrios in Pieria. A “green” hotel with a pleasant family atmosphere, is built on the mountains slope and occupies 12 acres with ecological cultivations. The Ktima Bellou follows the agrotourism philosophy without lacking in comfort and high quality services. The traditional building, built by traditional craftsmen, is constructed with natural materials. The hotel provides full accommodation, restaurant, caf?, swimming pool and a small congress center.
The breakfast buffet at Ktima Bellou features home cooked dished that alternate daily. Organic coffee and tea from Olympus is served. There is freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh bread, handmade jams made with fruits of the estate, organic honey, local cheeses, olives and yoghurt, fresh and dried fruit (walnuts from the estate are always available). Homemade pies with handmade phyllo, sweet and savory, such as cheese pie, leek and cheese pie, pie with wild greens, open pie with cheeses and smoked pork, zucchini pie, “bougatsa” with cream, “bobota” with wild greens and cheese, are some of the specialities served. During the cold winter days guests will enjoy the hot traditional pasta “trahanas”, and there is also bread with village style sausage and sun dried tomato, baked omelet with eggs from the hens of the estate, crepes with cheese and tomato, homemade bread rolls with turkey and “kasseri” cheese, dough rolls with feta. Desserts include lemon cake, vanilla cake with fresh fruit, chocolate cake, chocolate biscuit and lemon cookies with jam. New recipes are constantly added to the breakfast buffet.
