The Grand Bleu Sea Resort is located in Eretria, a great destination for perfect holidays on Evia. The hotel is on the waterfront and consists of a main building with 96 rooms and three suites as well as 75 more rooms divided into six smaller two-storey buildings (ground floor and first floor). A Greek breakfast buffet with hot and cold dishes is served every day at the hotel restaurant and features many local products. There is fresh bread, homemade jams, various cakes, yoghurt, figs from Kymi and “trahanas” (traditional pasta). Recommended are the “tiganites” (pancakes) with honey or the village style “tyropitari” (village style cheese pie). Guests will find fresh fruits, fruit juices and fruit salads, mostly locally produced, cheese and other dairy products such as yoghurt and butter, boiled eggs and omelettes, cold cuts and pies such as cheese and spinach pies. Honey, olives and olive oil, herbal beverages and Greek coffee, are really worth trying.
