Golden City is a modern hotel just a stones throw from Athens city center and Omonia Square, the capitals central square. It takes only five minutes to walk to the Archaeological Museum. The hotel has 91 rooms, a conference hall for 100 people and a restaurant on the 8th floor, where breakfast, lunch or dinner can be enjoyed with a view of the Acropolis and the Lycabetus Hill.
The Golden City hotel serves its breakfast buffet daily, showcasing Greek products like feta cheese, olives, home made jams, honey, as well as a selection of traditional spoon sweets and compotes. The eggs are cooked in various styles (boiled, omelettes). A selection of cold cuts is offered daily (ham, mortadella), Greek freshly baked bread, cheese pie and apple pie, Greek salad (tomato – cucumber) and cheeses. There is a dessert of the day, croissants (chocolate, raisin, butter), two types of fresh juice (orange, apple), seasonal fruits and milk.
