The Erofili Beach hotel is situated on the island of Ikaria, in the picturesque fishing village of Armenistis, which offers many choices for dining and entertainment. There are also jams from the local Cooperative, pies with wild greens, cheese and zucchini pies as well as various sweets made by the owners: “finikia” (traditional sweet of Ikaria), “bougatsa” (custard pie), semolina pudding (halva), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), orange pie, cookies etc. The spoon sweets of Ikaria are worth trying as well as the “loukoumi” (Turkish delight). The breakfast buffet also offers fresh vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers, grilled vegetables such as peppers from Florina, fresh fruits, olives and Greek cheeses such as feta, “manouri” and gruyere.
