The hotel offers a proper Greek breakfast with hand picked ingredients from many corners of Greece. To start, there is a selection of freshly baked breads, ring sesame “koulouri” bun and an assortment of cakes. As for spreads, there is flower honey from Evia, cow’s butter, a selection of homemade jams, hazelnut praline, and yoghurt with various toppings.
The cheese board features Cretan gruyere, “manouri” from Lamia, “kasseri” from Ksanthi, paired with cold cuts from various regions of Greece. The Greek corner includes unsalted barley rusks, grated “feta” cheese, grated tomatoes, Kalamata olives, extra virgin olive oil, oven-baked bacon and sausages from Karditsa, saut?ed mushrooms and vegetables, cherry tomatoes from Messinia , “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato), traditional Cretan pie with “myzithra” and “anthotyro” cheese served with honey, various other freshly prepared pies, a tart of the day with fresh fruit and pastry cream and milk pie with fresh milk from Volos, handmade phyllo and cinnamon.
