The Dionyssos hotel is a traditional hotel situated on top of a hill, offering breathtaking views of Skopelos coastline. Surrounded by lush gardens with local and tropical plants, the hotel is traditionally built and consists of 52 rooms spread on two levels. It features a wonderful garden, an outdoor swimming pool, a taverna and pool bar, conference hall and breakfast area.
The Greek breakfast buffet at the Dionyssos includes two types of handmade bread (white and rye), rusks, cake, cookies and mini apple pies. Dairy products include milk, full fat yoghurt, cold cuts and cheeses (yellow, feta and “anthotyro”). Guests may try boiled and fried eggs, scrambled eggs with tomato (“strapatsada”), and Greek omelet. The homemade sweets such as cake, apple pie, syrupy semolina cake (“ravani”), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and traditional spoon sweets, are highly recommended. There is also a fresh fruit selection, two types of olives, two kinds of local jams, honey from Skopelos, vegetables and traditional pies such as spinach pie or cheese pie. Drinks and beverages feature coffee (Greek and other kinds), tea and herbal beverages such as mountain tea, sage, mint and spearmint.
