The new Blue Lagoon 5 star village style hotel is situated on the beach of Kalyves, in Chalkidiki. All rooms (double rooms with garden view and sea view, junior suites with garden view and shared swimming pool to deluxe suites with private swimming pool) are fully equipped. There is a private beach in front of the hotel, three theme restaurants and three theme bars, a Spa with indoor swimming pool, Beauty centre and a Supervised Kids’ Club.
The Greek buffet style breakfast features a wide selection of bread products, buns, rusks, cakes and cookies, paired with a selection of jams and various fruit compotes. Guests may taste spinach and cheese pies, cold cuts and dairy products such as milk, yoghurt, “anthotyro”, “manouri” and feta cheeses. There is a variety of vegetables, olives and eggs cooked in various styles, notably the traditional “kagianas” (eggs, tomato and cheese). Desserts include “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), “diples” (traditional sweet fritters), cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, as well as “ryzogalo” (rice pudding). There are also fresh and dried fruits. The traditional sweets, tahini halva, milk pie, “pasteli” (sesame and honey bar) are really worth trying. Guests may choose among Greek coffee and various other beverages.
