The Bali Village Hotel is situated in the village of Bali, on the northern coast of Crete between Heraklion and Chania. It is perched on a hill offering breathtaking view of the bay of Bali. The hotel is located only 250m from the center of the village where one can find traditional tavernas, restaurants, cafes, super markets and various other shops.
A wide selection of local delicacies is served at the breakfast buffet of the Bali Beach Hotel. The menu alternates daily so that guests can taste as many local flavors as possible. The day starts with coffee or herbal beverages such as tea, chamomile, sage or juices, with a variety of cakes and cookies. The freshly baked bread (village style, wheat, barley, multi grey and rye) is paired with honey, jams made with various fruits, cheeses and cold cuts. Hot dishes from the Cretan cuisine include village style sausage, cheese pie with “ksinomyzithra” cheese and mint, pie with greens, “sfouggato” omelet with tomato and oregano, and many more. Desserts feature cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), “loukoumades” (honey dumplings) or “tiganites” (fritters). Traditional products like the Cretan “dakos” rusk, olives, olive oil, and raisins can be paired with yoghurt, as well as a selection of fresh fruits.
