The Akteon hotel is situated on the promenade by the waterfront of Katerini. The hotel has been offering 3 star services to its guests for more than 50 years and has been recently renovated. The rooms are fully equipped and offer views either of the beach or the town.
The Akteon offers a wide selection of traditional dishes at its breakfast buffet. There is a selection of breads and cookies, honey and jams, as well as boiled and fried eggs, omelettes, and occasionally “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato). Guests may try the traditional “trahanas” and various other soups. There are also handmade pies made with fresh ingredients such as cheese, minced meat, spinach and meat. Worth mentioning is the “bougatsa” pie with cheese or cream and other pastry treats. There is a plateau of cheeses and cold cuts as well as handmade “tzatziki”. Vegetarians will appreciate the seasonal fruits, compotes, and vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, cabbage, various pickles, olives, fried zucchini, peppers and eggplants, depending on the season. Beverages include coffee, various teas, chocolate, milk and juices.
