The Acheloides hotel is located in southeast Tzoumerka on Pindos and consists of 24 luxury suites with minimal decoration. There is indoor, outdoor and children’s swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, Jacuzzi, a restaurant, a breakfast room, a caf?-bar, a children’s area and a conference center that can accommodate up to 100 people.
The Acheloides serves a wide selection of Greek traditional dishes for breakfast, such as local butter, freshly baked bread, tahini spread, honey and handmade jams. One of its specialities is the local “batzina”, a milk pie with village style phyllo dough and goat’s milk. Guests will also find yoghurt, cakes and delicious apple pie. Eggs are cooked in various ways, all from the village from free range hens. The breakfast buffet is complete with “trahanas” (traditional pasta) soup, hot and cold beverages.
