The Lakitira Suites is a boutique hotel on the southern side of the island of Kos. It has 83 rooms and suites ideal for families and couples. Guests may choose among double rooms, family rooms for four people, suites with a bedroom and sitting room or suites with two bedrooms and a sitting room. The hotel has two swimming pools (one for adults and one for children), a restaurant, two bars, a tennis court, a gym, sauna and playground.
At the Greek breakfast buffet of Lakitira Suites guests will find a wide selection of breads and cakes. There are also fresh fruits, jams and fresh orange juice. Eggs are cooked in various ways, like “kagiana” (scrambled with zucchini.) There is a selection of cold cuts and cheeses like “anthotyro”, ‘posia”, feta, “manouri”, gruyere, “katiki”. Other dairy products include cream, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), milk and yoghurt. Many hot pies are available with various fillings (zucchini, ham and cheese, sausages), cream-filled “bougatsa”, mini spinach pies and mini cheese pies. The breakfast buffet is complete with thyme honey, tahini and “mageria” (local sweet), and “dakos” rusk. The beverages include Greek and other coffees, green tea, chamomile and chocolate.
