In 2019, Konstantinos Tsirimokos began experimenting with the cultivation of legumes on the family-owned farm. The first crops planted were lentils and chickpeas, and the production proved highly successful, both in quality and taste. Initially, the legumes were distributed to local stores as well as to family friends and acquaintances, creating strong demand for the following year’s harvest.

The following year, cultivation nearly doubled in size, and new products were added, including fava beans, beans, and wheat. It is worth noting that the fava bean seed used is an old and rare variety that has been preserved for many years and is difficult to find today.

The growing demand led to the expansion of the farm and investments in machinery for the cultivation and harvesting of legumes, as well as specialized equipment such as a fava bean dehuller and a lentil sorting machine. A small packaging facility was also established.

Today, with increased production capacity, our products are available in several local stores. Our immediate plans include expanding our product range, both in legumes and in products derived from them.
