The company EVOIKI ZYMI S.A. was founded in 1984 in Psachna, Evia, under the name “Zymarika Psachnon” (Psachna Pasta), starting as a small family-run workshop producing traditional pasta. From the very beginning, the company faithfully followed traditional homemade recipes, using only the finest pure ingredients and the authentic methods of experienced Greek homemakers.
During the 1990s, Evoiki Zymi expanded its activities into the production of frozen dough products and relocated to privately owned facilities in Kastella, Evia. The company’s continuous growth led, in 2004, to the transfer of part of its production to new modern facilities in the Dokos area of Chalkida. By the end of the same decade, the company had also established a production unit in Chania, Crete. At the same time, Evoiki Zymi dynamically expanded its distribution network through its commercial brands “Zymarika Psachnon” and “Zymi Psachnon,” continuously gaining new customers both in Greece and abroad.
The company’s success began with its traditional homemade country-style pastry dough and continued with filo pastry, puff pastry, kataifi pastry, traditional pies, puff pastry snacks, pizzas, and croissants. Today, consumers can find its products in most major supermarket chains across Greece, as well as in smaller retail stores.
Similar growth has also been achieved in the export sector, with the company steadily expanding its sales network in international markets and strengthening its presence worldwide.
