The Kalderimi Country House is a guesthouse based in a renovated two storey old building of Pelion. The house has five rooms as well as an independent room with ensuite bathroom that can accommodate four people and a small outhouse which accommodates 4 adults and 4 children. The guesthouse has a total capacity of 23 people and is set in verdant surroundings, ideal for guests who wish to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature.
Breakfast includes local products and fruits from the owners’ estate. Organic fruits and jams are paired with yoghurt. Herbal beverages from blueberries and linden, butter, gruyere and feta cheese, as well as cold cuts and hot olive bread, are also found on the buffet. In the winter, hot “trahanas” soup with toasted bread is offered. The “spetsofai” with local sausages, the baked omelet with organic vegetables and local sausage, the baked mushrooms and the Greek village-style pizza are worth tasting! Cretan rusks, “twisted” handmade pies with cheese or spinach, tarts with handmade jams, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), pies with pears, apple, milk, walnuts, banana dessert with chocolate, are some of the sweet delicacies. Fresh orange juice, homemade biscuits with fresh jam, soft biscuits with brown sugar, thyme honey and dark chocolate, local milk from Thessaly and local thyme honey will acquaint guests with the products of Pelion.
