The rich Greek breakfast buffet consists of all types of bread, cereals, handmade cakes, sweets and biscuits, crepes, “loukoumades” (honey dumplings) and homemade jams. There is an abundance of fresh fruits, salads and vegetables, as the hotel grows its own produce in its vegetable garden. Cooked dishes include fresh omelettes with spinach and feta cheese, handmade savory pies with spinach or cheese, with “myzithra” cheese or minced meat. Lighter choices include homemade yoghurt with strawberries, orange and citrus fruit. Sweet pies include apple pie and “bougatsa” with phyllo and cream. Apart from traditional spoon sweets, there are various Greek sweets in syrup and some international ones with a Greek twist like cheesecake with “anthotyro” soft cheese and tiramisu with “katiki” cheese from Domokos, Greek “mosaiko” with chocolate and handmade biscuits and homemade “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) orange zest.
