Το πρωινό σερβίρεται σε μπουφέ στο εστιατόριο «Θάλεια», με θέα το απέραντο γαλάζιο του Αιγαίου και το πράσινο του κήπου. Εδώ τον πρώτο λόγο έχουν τα λεσβιακά προϊόντα, χωρίς ωστόσο να απουσιάζουν και άλλες γεύσεις. Μέλημα των ιδιοκτητών του ξενοδοχείου είναι να μένουν οι πελάτες ευχαριστημένοι διότι το πρωινό είναι η αρχή και αφού, “αρχή το ήμισυ του παντός”, η καλή μέρα από το πρωί φαίνεται.

Προσφέρονται φρέσκο ψωμί από τους φούρνους του ξενοδοχείου, λεσβιακό πρόβειο βούτυρο και σπιτικές μαρμελάδες από φρούτα του νησιού, σιμιγδαλένιος χαλβάς, μπλατζέτα με ντόπιο ελαιόλαδο, μπαλεζές και αλευριά από εκχύλισμα σύκων, κέικ, μηλόπιτα, πασταφλώρα κλπ.

Η αλμυρή γωνιά περιλαμβάνει φέτα ΠΟΠ, λαδοτύρι Μυτιλήνης, ελιές από διάφορες ντόπιες ποικιλίες, τραχανά κατά τον χειμώνα, τάραμα, σφουγγάτο, κασερόπιτα, στραπατσάδα (στην λεσβιακή ντοπιολαλιά «αυγά πάνε κι έλα»), όλα φτιαγμένα από τσυνταγές και προϊόντα της Λέσβου.

Παράλληλα προσφέρονται κρέπες (γλυκές και αλμυρές) και παρασκευές αυγών με μπέικον, ζαμπόν, σαλάμι αέρος και λουκάνικα.

The breakfast buffet consists of products from Lesvos as well as of other top quality ingredients. Bread is baked fresh on the premises and is paired with sheep’s butter from Lesvos and homemade jams. Feta cheese, “ladotyri” cheese from Mytilene and olives from different local varieties are basic staples at the breakfast table. Traditional recipes served here are also the “sfouggato” omelet, the cheese pie with kasseri and “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato), all made with local recipes. The desserts corner features the classic semolina (pudding) halva, the “blatzeta” with olive oil of Lesvos, the “balezes” and the “alevria” with figs’ extract. These delicious local sweets are complemented with cakes, apple pie and “pasta flora” jam tart.

The hotel’s Greek breakfast features many fresh local ingredients. Beverages include freshly ground mastic flavored Greek coffee, herbal teas, fresh milk and fruit juices from the aromatic citrus fruits of Chios. There are many homemade bread varieties, paired with organic jams and traditional spoon sweets. There are also fresh and dried fruits such as the “pastelaria,” a delicacy made with figs, almonds, cinnamon and sesame. Also offered are cakes, mastic biscuits and local “kourkoubinia” sweet. Other traditional sweets are “ravani” syrupy semolina cake with mastic, creamy “galaktoboureko”, walnut pie, orange pie and chocolate pie. Loukoumades” (honey dumplings), “bougatsa” (custard phyllo pastry),”ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and vanilla cream are also served. The local eggs are cooked in various ways, the highlight being “strapatsada” (scrambled with tomato). There is also a selection of pies with fillings such as spinach with feta, wild greens, cheese, and mushroom. Cold cuts, cheeses like “mastelo” with fresh tomato and local olives are also served.

The Ftelia Bay serves breakfast featuring a wide selection of traditional delicacies such as breads of Mykonos, various local cookies, cake, bread sticks, honey, tahini and jams.
Guests may choose among a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Dairies include yoghurt, “ksynotyro” and “trovolia” cheeses of Mykonos as well as buttermilk, butter and milk. Eggs are cooked in various styles (fried, boiled, with smoked “apaki” pork or with local “louza”). The fresh pies, such as spinach pie, or the traditional onion pie with “trovolia” cheese are recommended. Other delicacies are the olives from Kassandra, traditional “trahanas” pasta and “rafiolia” with “trovolia” (local ravioli). Beverages include various teas and Greek coffee, paired with sweets like handmade spoon sweets, cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, dried fruits and nuts.

The rich Greek breakfast buffet at the Erytha welcomes guests whit a glass of “soumada”, a sweet beverage made from almonds. There are also traditional thin “tiganites” (pancakes) with “myzithra” cheese and honey of Chios. Another traditional delicacy is “pontikes”, which resembles French toasts. Traditional pies with wild greens and feta, rusks with “kopanisti” (spicy white cheese) and green olives are also available. Guests will also find “masourakia” and “flogeres” made with phyllo crust and filled with almonds. Cool yoghurt is paired with spoon sweet, next to “moustalevria” (grape must) and hot “loukoumades” (honey dumplings). Last but not least, there are sweet mastic biscuits to dip in fragrant Greek coffee or even mastic flavored coffee, brewed the traditional way.

The Greek breakfast buffet at the Cavos starts with bread, anise rusks and cookies from the neighborhood bakeries. Dried nuts go perfectly well with milk from Tinos; honey, tahini and handmade marmalades, yoghurt with spoon sweets and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), are some of the traditional breakfast delicacies. Guests will also find cake, “fanouropita” pie, milk pie and apple pie made on the premises. Chickpea or potato salad made with a traditional recipe, cheese and butter, cold cuts including the well known “louza” of Tinos are also served. Drinks like homemade lemonade and beverages from Greek herbs, as well as Greek coffee, are a perfect ending to the first meal of the day.

The Caravia Beach has a rich breakfast buffet with traditional, local products of Kos among the other Greek products served. Some noteworthy traditional products and dishes are spoon sweets, sweets in syrup, “trahanas” (pebble-sized pasta), “pasteli” (honey and sesame paste), semolina halva and halva from Farsala. There are dried nuts and locally produced honey, yoghurt and jams and fruits. Various cold cuts accompany cheeses such as “anthotyro”, local “krasotyri” and feta. Greek olives are served alongside various seafood dishes such as marinated sardines, octopus in vinegar and calamari. The hot buffet features eggs cooked in various ways like the traditional “strapatsada” with saut?ed meat or plain). There is also yoghurt pie, cream-filled “bougatsa”, spinach pie and milk pie baked -all baked on the premises. Last but not least, guests should try hot “tiganites” (Greek pancakes) and “loukoumades” (honey dumplings with cinnamon).

The cold cuts selection includes “louza” (smoked pork) and sausages of Syros. The traditional handmade pies (zucchini pie, tomato pie with oil, pie with olives, potato pie, spinach pie and eggplant pie), with local vegetables, are highly recommended. Other suggested delicacies are green and black olives, olive oil, and “trahanas” soup (sweet traditional pasta). Hot beverages include (chamomile, marjoram, “melissochorto”, thyme, black and green tea, beverages with saffron from Kozani), and various coffees.

The Atlantica Princess Hotel offers a rich breakfast with strong Greek elements, highlighting products and aromas of the island. Whole wheat bread products, a selection of cookies, Cretan rusks and a wide variety of breads are available daily. Traditional pies such as pies with greens, cheese pies, pies with sausages, soups like “trahanas” and bean soup, are some of the hot dishes served. There are also homemade jams, dried and fresh fruit, mixed fruit juices and freshly squeezed juice with local oranges. The fresh eggs are cooked in various ways, like the traditional “strapatsada” with scrambled eggs and tomato. There is also a variety of dairy produce of the region such as feta cheese, “anthotyro”, “manouri”, gruyere and yoghurt. For dessert there are
“loukoumades” (honey dumplings), cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, home made “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), a selection of cakes, “tsoureki” (sweet bread), home made spoon sweets and honey from local producers. Guests should try the traditional Rhodian “melekounia” (nuts and honey bars) and many more delicacies. Beverages include mountain tea and Greek coffee.

A rich Greek breakfast buffet is served every morning consisting mainly of Greek traditional products. Guests will find freshly baked bread, homemade jams, biscuits and various cakes, yoghurt, fresh butter, and Greek “feta” cheese. Highly recommended are the traditional pies (cheese pie, milk pie, “bougatsa”, Mykonian onion pie, spinach pie and pie with wild greens from the garden), the traditional “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) or the Cretan “dakos” rusk with tomato, olives and virgin olive oil. There are also eggs, milk, vegetables, cold cuts and fruits.

The Greek breakfast of the Anemi Hotel consists of handmade products such as homemade cream-filled “bougatsa” pie and cheese pie as well as mini cheese pies filled with cheese from Folegandros. Greek butter and honey have a prominent place on the table, alongside the fruits and freshly squeezed juices.

The Anteliz Suites serves a wide selection of traditional delicacies at breakfast. There is fresh bread (white and whole wheat), honey, tahini, fruit salad with fresh fruits, Greek strained yoghurt and eggs (boiled, fried and omelet). Guests will also find sesame “koulouri” buns, homemade orange and cinnamon cookies, freshly baked cakes (vanilla, chocolate and orange), and various jams with local fruits (including cherry tomato of Santorini). Greek cheeses such as feta from Kalavryta, gruyere from Crete, “pecorino” from Amfilochia, and “myzithra” from Ios are served daily. Guests may try the homemade pies such as cheese pie, spinach pie, zucchini pie, the Santorini “sfouggato”, (omelet with local sausage, white eggplant, olives and feta). Beverages like mountain tea, linden with anise and fragrant Greek coffee are paired with “melitinia” (sweet treats) of Santorini.
