Although we offer an American-type buffet breakfast that will satisfy every guest’s taste, the special treats are the “Greek Flag” dishes. Guests will have the opportunity to “taste” the local culture, to come closer to Kos and its people. So, locally produced and oftenly organic ingredients are used, to create in-house, traditional delicacies that represent the special flavours of Kos.

Breakfast at Mitsis Petit Palais Beach Hotel is served every morning from 7:00 to 10:30 at the Main Restaurant. The breakfast includes a variety of traditional Greek flavour and dishes such as Greek coffee, a variety of local breads and sweets, authentic Greek barley rusks, feta, olives, delicious pies and many more!

The buffet is set at the hotel restaurant with views of the volcano. Breakfast starts with handmade croissants, cakes and a variety of freshly prepared sweets. At least two traditional Santorini sweets, made on the premises, are served daily, together with biscuits, cookies and rusks, all of which are handmade. One of the main savory dishes is a scrambled eggs version, “koskosela” (local name for “strapatsada”), which is based on an authentic traditional Santorini recipe, as well as the stuffed Santorini cherry tomatoes with egg, feta and oregano. Other egg dishes are eggs fried in red sauce, Santorini “sfouggato” (omelet with potatoes, eggs, zucchinis, and local capers. Spoon sweets, Santorini cherry tomato sweet, “katsouni”, or grape sweets alternate on the buffet. Other rotating sweets include pasta flora jam tart with handmade biscuits, cream-filled “galaktoboureko”, syrupy treats (“saragli”, baklava, “samali”), or tahini pie, “trahanas”, semolina pudding (halva) and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding).

The Varos Village Traditional Hotel offers breakfast with unique local products and authentic recipes of Lemnos. There is fresh bread and rusks, homemade pies with “kalathaki” cheese or greens, omelettes with village eggs and vegetables from the hotel gardens or “sfouggato” omelet with zucchini. Another specialty is baked tomatoes gratinated with “melihloro” cheese. There are also various cheeses from Lemnos, thyme honey from Lemnos, homemade jams and local spoon sweets, sheep’s yoghurt, fresh fruits, fruit salads, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers from the hotel farm. Furthermore, there is a variety of cold cuts, cereals, herbal infusions, fresh orange juice, filter coffee and traditionally brewed Greek coffee. Desserts include “bougatsa” pie with custard cream or sweet pumpkin pie and handmade cookies.

Well begun is half done… Especially, when the beginning involves the most delicious homemade breakfast while enjoying the clear atmosphere and fresh island air of Amorgos.

Βreakfast buffet features fresh and seasonal ingredients, fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods hot from the oven. A selection of cereals, dried fruits, deli meats and cheeses (like feta – Greek cheese or Amorgian mizithra) is also served. Greek cow yogurt with granola and fresh homemade pastries are a must-to-eat. Greek rice pudding, ‘loukoumades’ with honey, ‘bougatsa’ (Greek traditional cream pie) or ‘ravani’ (cake doused in sugar syrup), a variety of pies (mushroom, zucchini etc), eggs (various recipes), including our famed xerotigano, fried dough strips, a traditional Amorgian sweet, are some of our everyday mouth-watering treats.

Many of the vegetables and fruits are organically grown in the Hotel’s orchards. Home-made bread and extra virgin olive oil from Vigla’s olive groves guarantee an authentic breakfast experience.

The Greek breakfast buffet includes hot and cold products and a wide selection of coffees and local delicacies. Hot dishes include cheese pies and cold dishes feature ham, cheese, various types of bread and cereals. Guests will enjoy Greek produced feta cheese, cold cuts, boiled eggs and “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato). There are also fruits (apples, bananas, oranges), milk and Greek yoghurt, jams, bread, toasts and all kinds of coffee, including Greek, as well as tea.

Guests will really enjoy the traditional Greek breakfast at the Theofilos Paradise. The best local ingredients are used to prepare delicious traditional delicacies. Apart from fresh breads and cookies there is a local specialty, “tsatalia”, made with olive oil from Mytilene and flour. The pies of Mytilene with handmade phyllo are filled with fresh ingredients: wild greens, various aromatic herbs, eggs and the local “ladotyri” cheese among others. Worth mentioning is the “sfouggato”, a traditional savory pie with zucchini. Other savory dishes include “strapatsada”, (fresh eggs beaten with grated tomato and feta). There are also other kinds of omelettes and fried eggs, small pies with “myzithra” cheese, “giouzlemedes” (traditional small cheese pies) small sweet or savory crepes and a variety of olives. Desserts include “moustalevria” (grape must) and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding). Other sweets include orange pie, “ravani” (a syrupy semolina-based cake), milk pie, “galaktoboureko” with custard and syrup and the “baklava” with thin phyllo and walnuts. Last but not least, there is yoghurt with fruits, spoon sweets and organic jams.

The Greek breakfast buffet many kinds of traditional bread and bakery products, like sesame bread with clove, “anevata” cookies and “fanouropita” cake. There is local milk and yoghurt and many Greek cheeses. Guests may are also choose cold cuts, eggs cooked in various ways like “kagianas” (scrambled with tomato, smoked pork or village sausage) “sfoggato” (traditional omelette). As for desserts, guests can try “halouva” with flour, tahini cream with cinnamon, “matsogalo”, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), “rodokrema” (from Rhodes), “galatopita” (milk pie), “bougatsa” (with phyllo dough and cream) and “giaourtopita” (yoghurt pie). There is also a selection of jams, fresh fruits and vegetables. Apart from thyme honey from Rhodes, highly recommended is the traditional “melekouni””(sesame, honey, orange and almond paste), As for beverages, there is Greek coffee, “alisfakia” (sage tea) “diktamo” (herbal tea), black mountain tea and chamomile.

A rich Greek breakfast buffet showcases the gastronomic wealth of the Cyclades, featuring fresh local products cooked on the premises. Guests will find various kinds of cakes, freshly squeezed juices, fresh fruits, hot bread, homemade bread sticks, local jams, fresh Mykonian eggs, local honey pie and milk pie. Other freshly baked pies feature cheese pie, pie with leeks and spinach pie with “tyrovolia” cheese of Mykonos, and there is also a selection of other delicacies.
