Fresh grown fruits and vegetables, dairy products produced with care and with the distinctive character of Greek villages, pastries and pies, bread varieties and spoon sweets, they all compose a hearty buffet filled with colors, superb taste and ingredients of the finest quality. Taste the specialties at the Healthy Corner, a place we have prepared for you with marvelous low fat, traditional products and recipes.
The rich breakfast buffet offers seven kinds of freshly baked breads (rye, whole wheat, sesame buns, olive bread, corn bread, rustic handmade loaf, sesame bread rings “koulouri”). The fresh seasonal fruit selection includes apples from Kastoria, oranges from Argolida, five kinds of juices and two salads. The health food bar offers a selection of fresh vegetables. The dairy section includes Greek cheeses such as feta and gruyere, fresh milk and full or low fat Greek yoghurt. Egg-based dishes feature three kinds of omelettes, accompanied with sausages from Evros and handmade pies, like traditional spinach pie.
Lentils, chickpeas and beans are also served, as well as cereals, such as oatmeal and frumenty. The Cretan corner includes barley rusks, olives, tomatoes and feta cheese.
Visitors may also enjoy honey and tahini, handmade cakes, traditional pies, like milk and apple pie, three kinds of cakes (fruit, chocolate and vanilla) and homemade jams and marmalades.
Greek herbal teas such as mountain sage and mint are served, as well as tea and Greek coffee.
