The Myrto is a traditional hotel situated in the picturesque bay of the Sifnos port, Kamares. It is conveniently located just 200m from the beach and 400m from the shops and restaurants. The hotel has 14 fully equipped rooms with views of the sea or mountain. Most rooms overlook the bay of Kamares; from the lighthouse at the port entrance, to the monasteries and the sunset, the hotel views will certainly enchant guests.
The day starts with a tasty breakfast on the hotel terrace, under the cool shade of the pergola. The buffet is filled with Greek delicacies made by the landlady especially for her guests, like her delicious cakes and cookies. Guests may start with a glass of natural orange or mixed juice. Homemade jams are paired with fresh bread from the neighborhood bakery. Fresh fruits are served with honey and yoghurt. Guests will also find cold cuts and cheese as well as fresh eggs from the island. For those who love sweets, two types of handmade cakes are offered; with chocolate and lemon or with dried nuts, cereals and tahini. There is also “tsoureki” (sweet bread), cream-filled “bougatsa” pie and traditional biscuits to go with Greek coffee.
