The Greek buffet offers traditional fresh bread, as well as bread sticks, rusks and buns. There are also homemade cakes, jams and spoon sweets made with fresh fruits, that can accompany the rich in taste authentic Greek yoghurt, together with dried nuts and fruits. The Greek cheeses (feta, “kefalotyri”, gruyere, “tyrovolia”, “ksynotyro”) and cold cuts are the stars of the breakfast buffet. Fresh salads and fruits are served daily as well as vegetables from local gardens. Juices include orange juice, tomato juice and fresh grape fruit juice. Fresh eggs are cooked in many ways, including “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato). Hot dishes feature spinach pies, cheese pies, onion pies, zucchini pies. Desserts include, among others, “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), honey pies, cream-filled “galaktoboureko” and “bougatsa”, apple pie, and syrupy treats like “ravani”, “kataifi” and baklava. All the above are accompanied by coffee and tea.
