The Greek Breakfast at the Messini Beach Club features flavors from all over Greece. The local delicacies are naturally showcased, such as “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato with “syglino” pork), the “lalagia”, the “diples” (fritters) and pies with village style phyllo dough (pies with fennel and a special milk pie). The famous Kalamata olives make their appearance as spoon sweet. Healthy options include fresh fruit juices, fresh milk, Greek yoghurt, cereals, thyme honey from Kythira, eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables. Breakfast also includes a wide selection of Greek and Messinian dairy products and cheeses such as “sfela” and “talagani as well as Greek cold cuts. Desserts include fresh “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), or apple pie. Beverages such as coffee, or tea are also offered.
