The breakfast buffet at the Mare Monte Beach features top quality products of Crete. Guests may start with four different types of fresh bread, traditional Cretan rusks, local eggs – boiled, fried or omelet- as well as “anthotyro” cheese. The cold cuts, cheeses and olives are supplied from local producers. Fresh and dried fruits, vegetables and various compotes are also offered. The hotel bakes its own pies, and several kinds of cakes and biscuits, all paired with four kinds of jams. Guests may also enjoy spoon sweets, plain or with Greek yoghurt. Finally, beverages served include coffee, milk, tea, cocoa and various fruit juices.
