The Avra is a 2 star hotel situated in Lygia, on the island of Lefkada, very close to the organized beach of Lygia. The hotel is fully renovated and consists of 12 double and four triple rooms. All the rooms are spacious and, if necessary, an extra bed can be added. The hotel offers facilities like swimming pool, pharmacy, bar-cafeteria and a rich breakfast with local, handmade products.
The Greek breakfast at the Avra Hotel includes a wide selection of dishes and local products. There is bread, local honey and handmade jams. The eggs can be cooked in various ways, the star being “strapatsada” (local dish with scrambled eggs and tomato). There are also fresh fruits, tomatoes, cold cuts, olives produced locally, feta cheese, yoghurt and virgin olive oil. Desserts include “ladokouloura” oil cookies of Lefkada, handmade cake, the handmade “tsoureki” (sweet bread) and various cookies. Guests will also find peach compote and beverages such as tea, chamomile, coffee, orange juice and fresh milk.
